read_detector_pars

stsynphot.stio.read_detector_pars(filename)

Read detector parameters from ASCII file.

Table must contain 4 columns without header. Comment lines are allowed and will be ignored. Columns are automatically named:

1. OBSMODE - Observation mode.

2. SCALE - Pixel scale in arcseconds.

3. NX - X dimension in pixels.

4. NY - Y dimension in pixels.

Example:

Parameters:

filenamestr

Detector parameters filename. Must be ASCII format.

Returns:

dataTable

Data table.
